I just voted at a polling place where the campaign volunteers out front say more people voted in the first two hours than normally do all day.  There was a line.

Anecdotal reports indicate a lot of young voters including one first-time voter whose mother came along to photograph the event.

Its an area that used to be primarily Republican and of the first 50 ballots only 2 were not Democratic ballots.  The machine that counts them isn’t working, meantime, so don’t expect instant results.

Its a carnival atmosphere.
