Will Jim Schellinger endorse Long-Thompson? I know that he has strongly resisted attempts to get him to be her running mate. Even though he would bring her strength in the south and 500,000 votes she needs this fall, Schellinger was disgusted by her chicanery and backbiting during the primary. Some see this as naievete on his part; I see it as principle, something we have come to expect from a politician about as often as we expect an ice age. They had a "gentleman's agreement" not to attack each other in the primary. Jill drew first blood. How can he ENDORSE someone he does not respect? It can be done, but most likely when he is ready, not when anyone else wants him to.
