One of our viewers might double as a producer for Fox News.  Hannity and Colmes had a segment tonight about the energy policies of John McCain and Barack Obama. 

The conservative side criticized Obama’s call for proper tire inflation.  That’s the concept that upset our viewer.  This afternoon, she called to say Obama is “talking down to a nation” by presenting such suggestions.

She says that idea is comparable to Phil Gramm’s observation, last month, about a “mental recession”.  He left the campaign as a result of that statement — and the “nation of whiners” reference. 

The caller says if Obama can offer “common knowledge” as presidential policy, Gramm should be “back in play 100%” for the McCain campaign.
