McCain Themes
John McCain acknowledged that Indiana is a battleground state in his Indianapolis speech. At one point he declared “The Mac is back!” prompting a cheer, “Mac is back! Mac is back!”
The themes are now familiar, Obama will raise taxes, I’m not George Bush, Joe the Plumber, and one new one: Obama will bankrupt the coal industry. Sounding hoarse, McCain says “Indiana I’m counting on you tomorrow!” after speaking for only about 20 minutes.

Jim,
The themes used by McCain are true. In virtually every case they are on video and in Obama’s own words.
I stood by an 18 year old first time voter in line this morning. We talked about lots of things. He called his first houir teacher to say he’d be late due to voting. Finally, the kid leans toward me and says in a low voice, “Anyone would have to be a moron to vote for Obama. He’ll ruin my life forever in one term.” The 29 year olg woman on the other side of me who had been nervous inasmuch as she was voting for the first time, chimed in, quite unexpectedly and said, “I’m so afraid of Obama, I’ve never voted and I’m 29, but I’m here to vote against Obama.”
Somehow, no one in the press ever manages to find kids like that. Its just the Obama lemmings who make news, isn’t it.
