The scattered showers will linger this evening.  Rain totals are near or just above an inch.

As colder air arrives, temperatures will fall to below freezing levels.  As this happens, the scattered showers will mix with a light wintry mix or a few flurries.  This is forecast to conitnue into Wednesday evening, but little accumulation is expected.  However some slick roads will be possible on Wednesday.

The weather pattern dries out for Thursday and Friday, but temperatures remain cold and in the 30s for highs.

Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures will be on another upswing.  Temperatures near 50 degrees by the end of the weekend, with more rain chances on Sunday.
