Winter Weather Advisory Extended
The winter weather advisory has been extended until midnight for the northern half of our area.
As temperatures dip below freezing, the freezing drizzle will change to flurries and snow showers.
A few flurries and snow showers are possible on Wednesday too. Little or no accumulation is expected. Wednesday will be breezy and cold, with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Behind that trough of low pressure analyzed on Forecast 8 Futurecast, there will be even colder air. Forecast highs will be near 30 degrees on Thursday.
A brief break from the winter chill arrives behind the warm front, with highs near 40 degrees on Friday. This will be brief, as more cold air arrives this weekend.
