A WInter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of central Indiana until 1PM this afternoon. Forecast 8 VIPIR Radar is indicating light freezing rain and sleet moving into the southern half of the state. Major accidents have already been reported just south of Vincennes on Highway 41. This precipitation should be light but as we all know it doesn’t take much to slick up the roads. Allow yourself extra time if you are heading off to school or work. Warmer air should change the precipitation over to all rain this afternoon.

Colder air will move into the region on Wednesday producing flurries and snow showers. Right now it appears any accumulations should be an inch or less. High pressure will bring cold but dry weather for Thrusday and Friday.
