Chilly Monday, More Flurries?
TODAY: A weak upper-level disturbance is still in the vicinity, so we will keep chances of flurries or snow showers in for today. Once again, little or no accumulation is expected. Highs should hit the low to mid 20’s.
TONIGHT: Cold air will linger, and lows again will dip into the lower teens and perhaps single digits in spots. Flurries could linger overnight.
TUESDAY: After a few morning flurries, the pattern should stabilize a bit, but chilly air will linger for one more day. Highs will hit the mid 20’s in most places.
WEDNESDAY AND BEYOND: The upper level pattern will finally start to change. The flow that has allowed for Canadian air to flow into the eastern U.S. will flatten out, and shut off the arctic express. The result will be slightly milder air on Wednesday, then a nice warm-up for the end of the week.
