ISP Update: Bloomington District
We are still experiencing extremely slick and hazardous road conditions on all roadways in the Bloomington District. All motorists should be aware of traffic signals not working due to ice.
Lawrence, Owen, Greene and Brown Counties have declared a snow emergency. Only essential, emergency and public safety travel is permitted in Lawrence, Owen, Greene and Brown Counties at this time.
Current road conditions within the Bloomington District of the Indiana State Police, which includes, Monroe, Lawrence, Greene, Owen and Brown Counties, are as follows:
- SR 37, Monroe and Lawrence Counties, Passable, but extremely slick, snow covered and hazardous.
- SR 46, Owen, Monroe and Brown Counties, Passable, but extremely slick, snow covered and hazardous.
- SR 45, Greene, Monroe and Brown Counties, Passable, but extremely slick, snow covered and hazardous.
- SR 67/ US 231 Owen and Greene Counties, Passable, but extremely slick, snow coveredĀ and hazardous.
- Secondary roads, (county roads), Passable, but extremely slick, snow covered and hazardous.
