Snow Showers On The Way!
Here is a look at some snow stats since our big snow yesterday. We have erased a big deficit and now have a surplus of snow for the season through yesterday.
Another cold front will move through the state tonight producing flurries and snow showers. Any snowfall totals should be on the light side.
I have inserted a couple of long range computer maps for next week’s storm. Right now, it appears that the heaviest snow should occur east of Indiana into the eastern Great Lakes. If this storm should shift to the west and come up west of the mountains, then we could be looking at accumulating snow late Monday and Tuesday. This type of storm either moves west or east of the Appalachians instead of right over the mountains. It could turn out to be a major storm for parts of the east. Stay tuned!

Randy,
Your CBS affiliate in LOU, said that the GFS for Monday has been trending West with each run. I loked at the GFS precip and it shows nearly 1.25 in LOU. What are your thoughts on this?
Do you think that the next storm if if shifts will hit the southern parts of indiana like in columbus? Just a little curious we have had a rough week as well as everyone else i know! Thank you for your time
