ISP reports 3 dead in I-69 crash

At least two people are dead according to the Indiana State Police after a multi-vehicle pileup on Interstate 69 near mile marker 8. That is just south of the SR 238 exit near the Verizon Wireless Music Center.

According to Ron Lipps of the Fishers Fire Department, at least 15 vehicles were involved in the accident, including a Fishers Fire Truck. Several people had to be extracted from their vehicles. It is not yet known how many more were injured.

    I was stuck on I69 just south of the Anderson exit, passed the Nestle Plant for 4 hours with a 2 year old and a 5 year old. I didn’t make it to Indy because of it being closed. I’m just glad we didn’t decide to go out at 9 because I probably would have been in the accident
