Rain Chances – Weekend Preview

A powerful storm system is bringing blizzard conditions to eastern Colorado and prompting winter storm watches into Missouri for the weekend.  I am telling you this because this weather system is headed our way.  One piece of energy is moving through Missouri now and there is a chance for a few showers locally on Friday.

High temperatures on Friday will be near 60 degrees.  It will not rain all day, but there is more rain on the way for the weekend.  Right now the timing of the main storm system is late Saturday, so there will be a few dry hours to start the weekend.  Highs will be near 60 on Saturday too.

As the storm system arrives, rain and storms are in the late Saturday forecast.  There is a slight risk for severe weather on Saturday.  It will be cold enough for Sunday morning for a few flurries and highs will only be in the 40s for the end of the weekend.
