What’s in your iPod?

I love to run. I try to run at least five miles a day (doesn’t always happen that’s why I used the word TRY).  When I run, I need my iPod, which means I usually enter work singing the last song I heard. One of my favorites, “I’m bringing sexy back.”

This  recently sparked a discussion with my lovely producer,  an intern, and a photographer (I need to keep their names a secret to protect their idenities).

I have a couple of different playlists I run to. The first ’song’ is ALWAYS PTI’s latest podcast, I love Michael Wilbon and Tony Konheiser. After that the songs range from Justin Timberlake, Pussycat Dolls, Pink, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, etc.

My producer calls the songs ‘hook heavy’ and ‘chanting’.   I don’t care, when I’m at mile 4 or 5 I need a song with a good beat, for example, “All the single ladies” (Yes, I have been known to sing while running).

Lexi (our intern) agrees with me (she has great taste). Mike (producer) and Joe (photographer) just don’t get it! What you think? What do you have in your iPod?

Ok, I really didn’t need to protect their identities!  They needed to be called out.

Happy running and it’s ok to bring sexy back.
