Don’t expect Indiana House Speaker Pat Bauer to permit a vote on a constitutional ban on same sex marriage in response to the news that a judge threw out a statutory same sex marriage ban in Iowa.
Bauer pointed out today that 4 Indiana judges have upheld the statutory ban here.

It’s really a shame that this state is so very far behind so many things, including this equal rights situation. It’s also really amusing how many people in the media, and in the statehouse that have gay children. It’s a sad day, when you take your own rights of your children away. Pathetic is a better word.
