Rain, Sleet and Snow Today – 80 By The End Of The Week
It was a crazy start to the day, with rain mixing with sleet and snow this morning. A few showers are still scattered across the area and will linger through the evening. Most of the showers are daylight driven and will begin to fall apart after sundown. It will be another cool night, with lows in the 30s.
There will be more sunshine on Wednesday and the weather pattern begins to dry, as the storm system moves east. There is only a slight chance for a stray shower during the afternoon especially across the eastern part of the state. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
A strengthening area of high pressure will dominate our weather pattern for the rest of the week, as the warmest air of the season moves in. The warm-up begins on Wednesday.
