My story about teenagers and text messages, Tuesday, led to some interesting discussions in our afternoon story meeting — and among the students interviewed for the story.  One of the students challenged the contention that writing habits are deteriorating as a result of text message style.  

Researchers seem to think otherwise — although texting may be too new for anyone to have anything conclusive about its impact.  Here’s a bit of the analysis I found as I did some research for the story.
