TODAY: A storm system is setting up shop just to our north and west.  Heavy rain this morning will race through Chicago with some rain dipping into northern parts of the viewing area.  This wave should not have that much severe weather here, but that could change later today. Highs should hit the mid 80’s with humidity.

SEVERE WEATHER THREAT: Some severe weather ingredients will come together later today, and we could see another round of severe weather.  Damaging wind and large hail seem to be the biggest threats.

TUESDAY: The frontal boundary will stall out across the region, so additional waves of rain and storms will arrive into the state, and some of those could be severe again.
