Not Much Change for Monday

June 15th, 2009 at 5:09 am by Ken Brewer under Weather

TODAY: For most places, Monday should be quiet.  As we mentioned yesterday, the dryness will depend on what happens to a warm front to our SW.  If it moves close enough, southern parts of the viewing area could see some storms, but most places should squeak out a dry day…barely.

TONIGHT: As a warm front approaches the state, clouds will build and we could see a few thunderstorms overnight.  Lows will only drop into the mid 60’s.

TUESDAY: Not as nice of a day.  The frontal boundary will creep towards the state.  With some upper-level wind support, storms will fire up along the front, which puts us in the bulls-eye over parts of the state.  Watch for the possibility of  some severe storms  especially in southern parts of the state.
