There will be a few showers scattered across the area this evening.  Our weather pattern is still being influenced by an upper level storm system.  The upper level low will finally move out and the cooler air will follow.

After starting the day in the 50s, temperatures rebound into the 70s Thursday afternoon.  Summer heat will begin to inch east, just in time for the holiday weekend.

The area of high pressure and the core of the summer heat doesn’t quite get here and that is a concern.  As storms develop on the north side of the high, central Indiana will be in line for at least the chance for isolated storms on Saturday and Sunday.
