Still Cool – Changes Are On The Way
The sun really tried to break through the clouds today…skies will begin to clear overnight, as temperatures fall into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Forecast highs return to the upper 70s and lower 80s on Friday.
Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Friday. Central Indiana is between 2 weather systems. There is the upper level low to our northeast and a building high across Texas. This being in the middle creates difficult forecasting. Right now it looks like the area will miss out on most of the storms, but it can’t be ruled out yet.
The complexes of storms that develop on the north side of the high will need to be tracked closely, as central Indiana is in the path. Right now Forecast 8 Futurecast shows the complex sliding just to our south early on Saturday. Forecast 8 will keep you updated on any changes. Temperatures will not quite reach the average high of 85 degrees, as the summer heat stays out west.
