Warmer Air On The Way

July got off to a really cool start with highs on Wednesday only in the upper 60s. Today should not be as cool with highs in the middle 70s. Our normal high is 85 degrees. Mostly cloudy skies will continue with maybe a few breaks in the clouds this afternoon.

As we head into the weekend, a disturbance will move into the Ohio Valley. The latest computer models are indicating a band of showers and thunderstorms spreading into the Ohio Valley late Friday night and Saturday. Right now, it appears the best chances for rain will be across the southern half of the state. There is the potential for over an inch of rain in some spots by Saturday evening. I do not expect all day rains on the 4th of July but showers or storms could occur at almost anytime. We will keep you posted.
