A 50/50 Weekend!
Today should turn out to be a great day with some sunshine and highs climbing into the lower 80s. Our normal high is now 85 degrees.
As we head into the 4th of July weekend, it now appears an area of low pressure will track right through the Ohio Valley. This will produce widespread rain and a few thunderstorms across central Indiana. The rain should begin around daybreak Saturday morning and continue through the afternoon. The rain could be heavy at times. The showers and storms hopefully will become more scattered by Saturday evening for the fireworks but I would still have the rain gear handy as you head out Saturday night. The bottom line is that tomorrow could be a very wet day.
