I agree with you, that innovation in open wheel racing is gone, and that is a shame.

I don’t agree with you on the Target Twins, Dario and Dixon are two of the best.

I can’t see the 500 ever being a “stock car race” but as you have mentioned in the past, there are definitely serious issues the IndyCar Series is facing.

Great comments, Mike.
It’s kinda like seeing the glass half full or half empty.
I think the girls will eventually come to their senses after seeing the actual amount of WORK it takes to run this show.
The F1 event for next year will put some more money back in the till. It should help quiet the clamor.

There is nothing right with the series. The sisters should pull the plug and let someone else start over.
Let the 500 become the stock car race it eventually will become.

Sorry, you lost me at “razor-sharp Target Twins”. It’s about the cars; they have to be different, as in not all the same. It’s dimming NASCAR now in `Cup and Grand-AM, and American Le Mans a tick since the Audi pulled out. Innovation in American open wheel is gone, and soon too will be the League unless they retool it pronto. Happy 4th.
