Not the Greatest 4th of July Weather

July 4th, 2009 at 6:53 am by Ken Brewer under Weather

THIS MORNING: If you are heading out to the Carmel Fest Parade or other outdoor activities, take an umbrella along.  Rain is just to the west and will be moving in this morning.

REST OF INDEPENDENCE DAY: A storm system from the southern Plains will race into the stae, so rain chances will increase as we go throughout the day.  Bottom line:  take rain gear wherever you go today.

FIREWORKS / INDIANS GAME WEATHER: Weather will be iffy for fireworks this evening and the Indians game.  Rain may become more scattered north of Indy, we will see how it shakes out.  Again, keep umbrellas handy.

SUNDAY: Weather willbe much nicer.  The storm system will clear out, and we should see a decent amount of sunshine and highs in the upper 70’s.
