Republican Congressman Mike Pence will be in Iowa next week for two events, a picnic in Cedar Rapids and a fundraiser in Sioux City. There is already 2012 speculation surrounding the visit.
Pence says he is going only because Congressman Steve King invited him, says he’s been to other states in his leadership role among House Republicans, and says he’s traveling less than other members of the leadership team.
He also says he’s not closing the door to a run for President.

I hope he does run for President. The quickest way to end your credibility is to run for an office absolutely no one would elect you to.
How can this be so ridiculous? Republicans quit all the time. Mitch Danials closed rest areas and put the lives of motorist in danger by forcing truckers to drive without rest all in the name of saving a few bucks. Ballard has in true republican fashion destroyed the economy of Indianapolis with higher taxes for sports venues. Bush waged an immoral war on the Iraqi women and children while Ballard is against a womans right to choose life or death for her fetus. Hypocrates? Thats a republican right wing conservitive for ya. How much do I have to pay for Mr. Shella to tell the truth?
