Protesters Greet Baron Hill

August 13th, 2009 at 3:31 pm by Jim Shella under Jim Shella's Political Blog

Protesters confronted Congressman Baron Hill this afternoon as he tried to get into the Lawrenceburg American Legion to honor World War II veterans.

Hill is in the middle of the health care debate and has so far avoided holding a town hall meeting while calling some opponents of reform “political terrorists.”

Hill Press Secretary Katie Moreau says that Hill’s entrance to the building was blocked for a time.  Says Moreau, “I honestly never thought it would come to this.”

She says Hill is working on plans for a town hall meeting.

One Response to “Protesters Greet Baron Hill”

…and he beat Mike Sodrel how again? Oh that’s right, Baron was a Democrat and stood next to Obama so he automatically won points with all those people that never saw beyond the all Democrat ticket they wanted at the poll. Go figure that the majority of people who know what’s going on never got what they wanted because the masses cried afoul against conservatives because somehow George Bush is the fault of every problem we have in this country and everyone with an (R) next to their name is in on it.
