Temperatures are still cool with the pesky low clouds remaining, but there may be some clearing ahead. The cloud deck is thinning to our NW, and that is sliding down. The result should be peaks of sunshine and warmer temperatures later this afternoon. We’ll keep an eye on it for you to see if it really happens!

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on a new layout for our main weather page. Our goal of this new look is to provide you a simple weather snapshot of what going on now and what’s going to happen in the near future. We’ve also lowered the amount of tabs on the main page to speed up page load time.
You can preview the upcoming changes here: http://www.wishtv.com/subindex/weather/weather_2
Also, we’ve not removed any of the current weather maps/images, just moved them to new homes. Keep reading to learn about the new categories and what maps are now available.
Please feel free to leave us your thoughts about the new layout. We’ll apply it to the main weather page in a week or two.

Temperatures on Wednesday morning will be in the lower and middle 40s. There is a chance for patchy frost too.

After that chilly start, sunny skies will help warm the numbers into the 60s.

Temperatures rebound to near 70 degrees on Thursday, as the mid-week warm-up continues.

This will be a brief warm-up, as the next storm system develops out west. That area of low pressure arrives here on Friday and will bring rain chances and more cool air.

Low in the middle 40s – it’s been since last Spring. The coldest air of the season is on the way for tonight. The Forecast 8 team will be monitoring decreasing winds and clearing skies. This is the recipe for a cold night. Forecast lows are in the lower and middle 40s.

If the skies clear fast enough, a patch or 2 of frost is possible.

Skies will be mostly sunny on Wednesday, with highs in the middle 60s. The area of high pressure will keep the weather pattern dry, but only temporarily.

The warmest day will be Thursday, with temperatures near 70 degrees.

This dry and slightly warmer pattern will end on Friday, as the next storm system arrives.

Rain chances arrive as early as late Thursday night. Scattered showers and storms are in the forecast for Friday and more cool air arrives for the weekned. There will be a few showers left on Saturday. Highs will be in the 60s Saturday and Sunday.
