Indianapolis Star columnist John Ketzenberger is the new President of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute, a think tank known for independent research into state government finances.

Ketzenberger leaves the paper and takes up his new duty in mid-September in an effort to revive an entity that was once well respected in the Statehouse by members of both parties and is mostly dormant now.

Ketzenberger will continue his role as an analyst on Indiana Week in Review after the shift.
