Rokitas pointing out that the current gerrymandering need changing is noble but his method is inane. A simple solution is available. District lines haven’t been drawn by humans for some time rather by a computer program. Ergo the legislature can do their thing by describing what a legal district should consist of. I would suggest: contigous yet competitive while observing the law with respect to the number of voters. Thus the voters would be given back their right to determine who wins elections rather having to overcome the barriers put there by gerrymandering. The bit about “to the victors go the spoils” is stupid. We the people “hire” a candidate and then he uses this chiche to steal from us!! I know this will never be done because to the politicos thier way is more important than the voters rights but one can only hope. No commissions, no constituional amendments! Dave Laux
