A Bit Milder Today
TODAY: The low pressure system that has been controlling our weather the past several days will move far enough away to gradually lose it’s influence on our weather. A brief ridge of high pressure will sneak in today, and that should mean a bit more sunshine, and some milder temperatures. Highs should get back into the mid 60’s.
TONIGHT: Skies should be clear across most of the region, and with cold air in place, lows will drop into the low to mid 40’s, maybe even some upper 30’s in outlying areas. There maybe some patchy frost, and there is a Frost Advisory for a few counties in SE parts of the state.
THURSDAY: Our next weather system will head our way. A brief weak ridge of high pressure will build in during the day, then move out as the next storm system approaches. The day should be dry, but there may be some scattered rain and a few storms Thursday night. Highs will approach 70°.
