BUS STOP THIS MORNING: Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30’s this morning with a light, but cool NW wind.

REST OF TODAY: The beginning of cooler air arrived after a cold front passed through yesterday.  Winds will stay out of the NW for most of the day, and that will help keep highs in the low 50’s.

TONIGHT: Skies will stay mainly clear and cold, lows will again drop into the mid 30’s.

WEDNESDAY: Quick changes to the weather pattern.  A quick-hitting cold front will slide into the state Wednesday. This will the be the only chance of rain we see through the weekend!  Highs will only hit the low 50’s, maybe in the upper 40’s.

EXTENDED OUTLOOK: The jet stream pattern is expected to change gradually through the rest of the workweek.  A ridge of high pressure in the upper-levels of the atmosphere will build east over us in time for the weekend.  Highs will slowly climb into the 60’s by the weekend.  There are some indications that we could hit the low 70’s by Sunday, but we will hold off on that for now, until we see a few more models runs to confirm it.  Bottom line, outdoor plans look great this weekend.
