Tracking A Holiday Storm System
Forecast 8 is tracking a still developing storm system for the holiday weekend. Right now the leading edge is forecast to arrive by mid-day Wednesday. With clear skies overnight, it will be cold with lows in the 20s. As the moisture starts to move north, it will run into this cold air. This will lead to the chance for the rain mixing with freezing rain across parts of Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. It will be close enough that Randy Ollis will track the temperature and the moisture closely on Daybreak on WISH-TV at 5 am Wednesday.
