Lane restrictions will be in place on Meridian Street over the White River and Riverview Drive for bridge rehabilitation on or after August 29. Signs for the lane restrictions have been posted on  

Meridian Street, north and south of the bridge. Work will begin on the west half of the bridge first. Traffic lanes will be reduced from 4 down to 2: one lane northbound and one lane southbound across the bridge over White River. This first phase of work is expected to completed by mid-December, and lane restrictions will be in place until April 1. After April 1, rehabilitation work will begin on the east half of the bridge, and lane restrictions will be back in effect.
