Tracking Colder Air – Freeze Watch

April 9th, 2012 at 4:18 pm by under Colts Forecast, Weather

Colder air is moving toward central Indiana.  We will feel it through mid-week.  Overnight temperatures will fall into the middle 30s and patchy frost is possible.  The coldest night will be Tuesday night, with low temperatures in the lower 30s.  A freeze watch is in effect from late Tuesday night through early Wednesday morning.

A mix of sun and clouds and winds NW 15-25 mph are in the forecast for Tuesday.  High temperatures both Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the 50s.

The coldest air will stay just to our east and snow showers are possible across parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania Tuesday night and Wednesday.  Our forecast is dry until Friday.  Right now there are rain chances for Friday and the weekend.  Stay tuned for updates on timing later this week.  Milder air returns later this week too, with highs in the 60s on Thursday and Friday.  70s are back for the weekend.
