Non-Severe Storms For Indiana..Dangerous Storms In The Plains

April 14th, 2012 at 6:40 am by under Weather

Showers and storms stay in the forecast throughout Saturday for central Indiana.  None of the storms will be severe, but heavy rain (1-2″) and lightning will be the threats.  There will be some breaks in the rain this afternoon so keep an eye on the radar if you are planning to be outside. Sunday will be a little quieter with a lesser chance for rain.  A stray shower is possible and much of the day will be mostly cloudy. High temperatures both today and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s.

This afternoon in the plains states, there is a high risk for severe storms.  Tornadoes are likely in the areas located in red.  Forecast 8 will keep track of this developing situation and update you throughout the day.
