Fog Again This Morning, Record Warmth Next Few Days?

THIS MORNING:  We will be tracking fog again this morning across a good part of central Indiana.  There may be some delays if the fog gets thick enough once again.  We will track those for you this morning.

REST OF TODAY: Most of the thunderstorm activity will take place in northern Indiana today.  Some of those may dip into northern parts of the viewing area, so we will keep scattered thunderstorm chances in the forecast.  Otherwise, heat and humidity will be the big story today.  Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s.  The record for today is 87° set back in 1959.

TONIGHT:  It will be warm and humid overnight with lows in the low to mid 60s.

THURSDAY…MORE RECORD HEAT?  More heat and humidity will build for Thursday with a mix of sun and clouds.  Highs again will reach the mid to upper 80s.  The record for tomorrow is 86° set in 1959.

8-DAY FORECAST…HEAT FOR THE MINI: The warm temperatures will last through the first half of the weekend.  It will be dry on Thursday, but some strong storms could return Friday.  Warm, humid conditions should linger for the Mini-Marathon.  Temperatures will start in the mid 60s, but could climb into the upper 70s and near 80 by the end of the race, so extreme caution will have to be used for the runners.  Isolated showers and storms are possible Saturday and scattered storms are possible Sunday.
