Severe Threat Diminishing

May 6th, 2012 at 9:05 pm by under Weather

There are no warnings at this time.  A T’storm Watch remains for a few counties to the northwest of Indy until 10 pm.  The threat for severe storms will diminish due to stable air over Indianapolis and loss of sunshine.  The storms can still produce lightning, small hail, gusty wind and heavy rain but all under severe limits. The storms are still moving to the southeast between 20 and 30 mph.

Tomorrow we have a slight risk for severe t’storms in the late morning and afternoon.  Details on this forecast on MyNDY at 10pm and on WISH-TV at 11pm.
