Hottest Day of the Year, Rain Thursday?
TODAY: We should be slightly hotter today than yesterday. Highs will reach the mid 90s all across central Indiana. Humidity will be a touch higher, but not the tropical humidity.
THIS EVENING: It will be hot and dry this evening. Temps will start in the low 90s and won’t fall below 80 until midnight.
OVERNIGHT: It will be another warm night with lows dropping into the low 70s.
THURSDAY: A cold front will approach the state. I am still not overly confident that we will see much rain out of this system and thunderstorms still look to be spotty. Rain chances should hold off until afternoon and evening. Highs will still reach the low 90s.
8-DAY FORECAST: We will see a bit cooler, less humid air Friday and Saturday. Sunday looks dry, but hot. The next and only other chance of rain in the 8-day forecast is now on Monday. It will be cool Monday and Tuesday, then hot and dry by the middle of next week.
