Rain Tonight? Cooler Monday…Hot 8-Day

June 24th, 2012 at 4:55 pm by under Colts Forecast, Weather

It is still dry for now across the state.  A cold front is expected to move south through Indiana this evening and that front may trigger some thunderstorms.  Some storms could become strong with hail and damaging winds as the main threats.  The time frame for the storms still looks to be between 8pm and midnight.  Clear skies move in for the early morning on Monday.  Low temperatures bottom out in the mid 60s.

Monday will be much cooler and less humid.  Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.  The cool temps won’t stay for too long.  Hotter air will build in the plains and by the end of this work week, our high temps will be in the mid to upper 90s!  Dry weather settles in until next weekend.
