Heat Wave – Storm Chances
It was another hot day across central Indiana and the heat wave that started on June 27th will continue for the next week. Lows tonight will be in the 70s, under mostly clear skies. Forecast highs are in the range of 95-100 degrees through the weekend. An excessive heat warning has already been issued for northeastern Indiana from noon Tuesday through 8pm Saturday. That is a big sign the heat wave will continue.
There is a chance for a storm or 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Most of the storm development will be during the afternoon and early evening hours.
The Fourth Of July is Wednesday and it will be hot and humid, with the chance for a pop-up storm. The heat wave is forecast to last through Sunday.
