The  heat wave will continue.  There have been 6 days in a row with temperatures at or above 90 degrees.  The hottest was last Thursday at 104 degrees.  We are expecting 7 more days at or above 90 degrees before the heat wave breaks.  Skies will be mostly clear overnight, with lows in the 70s.  High temperatures will be in the range of 95-100 degrees through the end of the week.

There were a few storms on Monday and the same weather system will be close enough for pop-up storms over the next couple of days.  The best chance for a storm or 2 will be during the afternoon and early evening hours.  There is a chance for a storm on the 4th of July, but it will not rain all day.  The big story continues to be the heat.
