Glenn Howard
Glenn Howard lost his battle with Alzheimer’s overnight. The former state Senator and member of the City County Council was a significant force in Indianapolis, both in the minority community and beyond.
He will remembered as much for his colorful personality as his accomplishments. The biggest among those may be the effort he spearheaded to name Martin Luther King Street. His public service began in 1975 and ran through 2009.
