13 Day Heat Wave Is OverJuly 9th, 2012 at 10:26 pm by Angela Buchman under Weather
The high temperature in Indianapolis on Monday was 93 degrees. This was the 13th day in a row at or above 90 degrees. This almost 2 week heat wave included 6 days in the triple digits.
Skies will be mostly clear overnight, with lows in the 60s. Highs will be in the 80s on Tuesday and Wednesday. There is a weak weather system to our north and moving our way. This system is only triggering a few spotty showers and thundershowers. Our chances are near zero for any rain on Tuesday, but we will watch it closely. The next best chance for rain is Friday – Sunday, with scattered showers and storms possible.
