A Dry, Hot Week Ahead
A few isolated storms are moving southeast on Forecast 8 Vipir. Unfortunately our rain chances fizzle out later tonight. At the Indianapolis Airport, we have recorded only 0.09″ of rain in the last 45 days. This ties the record longest streak of dry weather in Indianapolis…August 13-September 26, 1908.
Today’s highs were in the mid 90s. We expect more 90-degree heat this week. Monday’s highs in the mid 90s. Tuesday’s highs nearing 100º. Rain chances stay away from central Indiana until mid-week. Wednesday will be our best chance for rain in the next 8 days.
