ISAAC IMPACT LATEST: Rain chances will increase today and peak Sunday through early Monday.  Rainfall projections are on the order of 2″-4″ with locally higher totals across central Indiana.  Winds will increase to about 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

TODAY:  The bands of heavy rain from the remnants of Isaac will start to move into the state.  The morning will be okay in the metro area, but iffy after that.  Rain chances will increase as the day and evening arrive.  Highs will reach the low 80s with high humidity.

THIS EVENING: Expect scattered rain and heavy rain to continue. Temps will stay in the upper 70s and lower 80s most of the evening.

OVERNIGHT:  There may be some breaks in the rain from time to time tonight, but rain chances remain in the forecast.  Lows will only drop into the mid 70s.

SUNDAY:  The highest chances of rain will arrive Sunday as the remnants of Isaac get closer to Indiana.  Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s.

LABOR DAY:  Right now, indications are that we will see the remnants of Isaac weaken a bit on Labor Day and move to our south.  That may take the heavier rain away from us, but we will see scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Highs will reach the mid 80s.

8-DAY FORECAST: Rain chances will linger through Wednesday, then cooler weather with highs in the 70s for the last half of the week!
