Next Rain Chances & Your Thanksgiving ForecastNovember 19th, 2012 at 4:49 pm by Steve Bray under Weather
Right now we are seeing a mix of clouds and sun across Central Indiana. Temperatures have risen a few degrees since this afternoon. We are sitting at 57º in Indianapolis, temps for rest of the area are in the upper 50s as well.
Tonight, we will see mild temperatures as we head through the evening hours. We will drop to the upper 40s by 10 PM and down into the mid 40s by midnight. Overnight lows will stay in the 40s for most places across the map. Indy will see a low temperature overnight of 43º.
Tomorrow, temperatures will reach a bit above average. We will see highs in the mid 50s once again. Most of Indiana will stay dry tomorrow, but a weak system may bring a few spotty sprinkles during the day tomorrow. That rain chance and cloud cover will clear the western half of the state by noon tomorrow, and continue to clear the rest of the state by mid afternoon.
Those clear skies will stick around for your Thanksgiving as well! We will see plenty of sunshine, and temperatures in the 60s! 62º will be your high on Turkey Day here in Indianapolis.
Thursday night into Friday, a cold front will push through and temperatures will begin to plummet. This front will bring in chances for scattered rain on Friday as well. Temperatures will drop to the 40s, but we will stay dry for the weekend after that system moves out of our area. More rain chances enter the forecast for the beginning of the week, as temps push back into the 50s.
