The Coldest Day In History

Where were you 19 years ago today? This is the anniversary of the coldest day in Indianapolis history. The morning low on January 19, 1994 was -27. The coldest Indiana temperature ever happened that morning in New Whiteland, in Johnson County, where the temperature fell to -36.

Indy had 6 inches of snow on the ground that morning, and another inch and a half fell that day. BTW: the high the day before was -4!
