Snow Moves Out, Weekend Outlook

Snow showers are lingering in Richmond and Connersville at this time.  The quick moving system will move out of Indiana in the next hour.  A Winter Weather Advisory continues for some counties east and south of Indy until 5pm.  Indianapolis has 1.2″ of snow (at the NWS office).  One mile west, northwest of Muncie 2.5″ of snow in three hours.  Under half an inch of snow in southwestern Indiana.


Temperatures are in the upper teens and lower 20s with wind chill temps a little colder.  Today’s highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.  Tonight’s lows fall into the teens and single-digits with a wind chill value around zero.


Saturday, partly cloudy with highs in the upper 20s.  Sunday highs in the mid 30s with a rain and snow mix.  Ice accumulation up to a quarter of an inch is possible Sunday night.  Temps warm into the mid 50s by Tuesday next week with chances for rain for a good portion of the week.
