Ed Whitcomb remarries

Former Governor Edgar Whitcomb has married Evelyn Gayer, his companion in recent years.  The 96-year-old Republican held a wedding reception over the weekend in Rome, Indiana.

State Representative Tom Saunders was among those in attendance.  He reports that Whitcomb bought an engagement ring on Valentine’s Day and acquired a marriage license the next day.
