Central Indiana remains quiet tonight and for tomorrow before an active weather pattern sets in.
Temperatures are in the 30s and lower 40s right now with wind chill temps a few degrees cooler. Lows tonight fall into the upper teens and lower 20s. Monday our highs reach the mid 40s for most. Gaining a couple more degrees compared to today.
Monday afternoon we stay dry with increasing clouds. Some rain moves in late Monday night and will stay in our forecast for Tuesday. The low pressure system stalls out over the Great Lakes after Tuesday. A few counties to the north of central Indiana are under a Winter Storm Watch. Temperatures in those areas will be cold enough that near Marion, Indiana significant ice accumulation is possible. With extreme northern Indiana getting 3″ to 7″ of snow. Stay tuned to changes in the forecast.
Temps fall into the 30s for the rest of the week. Repeated chances of light snow stick around central Indiana through next weekend. Minor snow accumulation is expected at this point.
